Airways Systems is open and ready to serve you safely.

We understand that for many of our customers, these are very difficult times.  We look forward to serving you again when things get back to normal.  Some others are still operating at or near their usual pace, and for others, the unwanted shutdown creates an opportunity for some long-deferred maintenance projects.  And spring is always a good time to have coils cleaned.

Here is what we are doing to make sure that we serve you safely:

•    Airways does not want people coming to work sick, or if they have been exposed to people who may have the virus.  Consequently, the company required people to call in sick if they were not feeling well or living with someone who was showing respiratory symptoms, and liberalized sick leave policy so that workers would not feel economic pressure to come to work if they’re not feeling well.

•    On the job, and en route to and from the job, Airways has taken several actions to prevent the spread of the virus:
o    Limited the number of people in a company van at one time to three, and mandated N95 respirators when in the van if there are any passengers
o    Mandated that anyone entering a company van, or a job site, having arrived via public transportation, wear gloves on public transportation and don a protective (Tyvek or equivalent) suit before entering the van or job site
o    Mandated the use of hand sanitizer prior to entering our service vehicles and customer sites
o    Mandated daily cleaning of touch points inside service vehicles and on door handles with disinfectant
o    Mandated N95 respirators, gloves, and goggles on the job
o    Mandated social distancing when on the job
o    Mandated cleaning of equipment at the end of each job
o    Provided extensive guidance on personal hygiene practices at home and in the workplace

•    Airways has always required that if a customer’s safety regulations or procedures are different than those of Airways, the crew members follow the stricter of Airways’ or the customer’s while on the customer site.  We will be happy to work with any customer to understand and comply with any additional COVID-19 or other safety protocols at their site.

•    We expect that this list will evolve over time as circumstances change and/or new ideas, regulations, and technology emerge.
We hope that you, your family, and your colleagues are staying healthy through this crisis.
